i hv installed Apache Tomcat 4.0 on to my system. and i am
trying to deploy a war file by placing it under the webapps directory. and restarting
tomcat. I expected the war file to get deployed and extract itself into its directory format as
inside the war archive, but somehow it doesnt seem to be happening. i hv not made any changes to my
server.xml...is that necessary?
Can someone tell me how to solve this. am i missing out something.
My platform is win 2000 and i am using tomcat.exe as a service and apache tomcat 4.0.
