I am having Window NT 4.0 Based server on
which IIS and proxy are installed in my organisation. I have hosted one web site
also on this server. For on line data base access
through this web site I have to run servelts. I am having JSDK2.1
downloaded from sun site. When I copy this
JSDK2.1 direcotry and start JSDK server using "startserver" command
from prompt , server it started . But when I access any servelt using http://localhost:8080/servlet/???? it
fails showing page not found. Class fies are copied in directory
"c:\jsdk2.1\webpages\web-inf\servlets" . And
default directory of web site is "c:\inetpub\wwwroot" .
JSDK2.1 and Servelts are working fine on one of the
proxy node . But keeping servlets and data bases on node is not beneficial since
data bases can only be viewed from internal network .
To view data bases from Internet throgh our
web site we have to run servlets on the server and keep data bases
on the server.
Can any one suggest how to isntall JSDK2.1 on
this server (NT4.0+IIS+Proxy) so that I can run servlets successfully.
For any clarifiction please write.
Thanks
