Hello everybody!

I have installed IIS as Web Server and Tomcat 4.1.16 LE as plug-in of IIS to
mangage Servlet/JSP pages (using isapi filter JK2 "isapi_redirector.dll"). I
would like to know is there is some way to re-start a Windows' service
(including Tomcat!) using
some web application acessible from the Internet to avoid to use the
"Services Panel" of Windows
(I installed Win 2000 Advanced Server as operating system).
In fact it can happen I am not able to access remotely to the
server machine (using PCAnywhere for example): so I would like to be
able to re-start any Windows' service (for example it can happen that some
service hangs up and I need to re-start it) I need using some Web
application. How can I do? Is it possibile
to do this using some web app based on Java technology (Servlet/JSP)?

Thanks everybody in advance!

                                                   Luca
