Vinod,
I don't know how to invoke Adobe Distiller from a servlet but you can
generate PDFs from a servlet with the iText package. It lets you generate
PDFs, RTFs, and HTML. I've been using this package for the last few weeks
and it works quite well; it is even well-documented and well-supported.
Plus, it is free.
The home page for iText is http://www.lowagie.com/iText/.
I should warn you that iText does NOT convert Word to PDF so it won't help
you unless you can change your requirements so that you are generating the
PDF from scratch.

Okay let me clear it
I have an application that's on j2ee architecture.
And the application generates a word document as an output.
I need to be able to convert it into pdf.
Adobe distiller is an software that converts doc to pdf.
I am in search of a java api that io can include in the application
Or an active x component that I can call from java.
If me asking this question has been of any inconvenience to anybody, I
apologise for that
