Gil,
msconfig.exe is found on all WIN9X OS's (Win95, Win98)
If your using Win2k I'd recommend searching through your WIN.INI,
SYSTEM.INI, CONFIG.SYS, and AUTOEXEC.BAT via a happy tool called 'sysedit'.
Another great way to find programs that AutoMagically start upon boot it to
search the REGISTRY for the program name. Be careful though, you can
'AutoMagically' destroy your PC when editing the registry.
Also check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
For the listing of programs that start upon startup....
