Actually, all SetiSpy really does is allow the user to keep track of the 
stats and operate the seti client, at least on a windows machine, without 
having to operate the GUI as well.

On my Linux machines it's far easier to operate the Setiathome binaries in 
text mode without any kind of GUI intervention.
