I run my own batch programs that do the caching of the text client.  The
BIOS (dell's) does not have an option to disable power settings.  The
only thing I have been able to come up with is it is somehow tied to Mom
installing/removing her games.  This all started when she installed the
latest Myst, that's why I had her remove Myst and reinstall W98.  That
worked, until today as I mentioned.  When I asked her, she said she has
installed one other small game and removed a couple of others.  It's
like there is some magic file out there that is being corrupted by her
game installs/removals.
