It's the technological dwarf again (in my defence, I would really like to crack basic astronomy some day....)
I hope you can all read this. I like to use Setispy... into pretty pictures and don't have the fire power that will get me into record books. Have had connection problems for the past week, intemittently... usually going into the screen saver and directing it to "connect now" works... (seti spy alerts me to programme being idle) It's not my/the server, so I put it down to berkerly not being able to accept so many results so fast? Or ??? If you look at the site, they seem to be acknowleding problems, and even problems at certain times.... just look at the stats... there's a lot of us out there.... As regards the viruses (virusi???) I have Norton, and a firewall and they have all been caught so far... a lot of your mails (Seti) were talking about virus but also affected - as follows a worm type W32 but also others with no file attatchement and I identified four, possibly five ... and some originating in Yahoo, problematic return paths and my normal mail, ... some of you seemed to be sending mail without realising that the mail you were sending was affected. If anyone needs help, I have them all in quarantine, (but you'll have to tell me what to do) and for those that don't, thank you for the warning, and happy hunting, guys! Obviously, if this comes with a virus, I would appreciate you getting back to me...
