go into your folder that has the seti program, then go to tools > folder options > view > make sure that hide extensions for file types is unchecked then make a new file, name it seti.bat then edit it and paste: setiathome-3.03.i386-winnt-cmdline.exe in the file then make sure u save it as seti.bat, not seti.bat.txt, which is why you need to have the hide extensions box unchecked. then after it is saved then right click on the file and drag to the start button and and tell it to create short cut here. you can also do the same for the desktop. then you can right click on the short cut and change the icon if you like to one that looks like a satellite dish. if you need a proxy or anything else you can also add that to the end of the file name in the bat file. hope that helps, that is how i set it up on the wife's me machine. with win 2k you can just make a shortcut and put in the start up menu. I think the reason i used a bat file was to allow the set up of the proxy to start automatically good luck N�XDW
