I used to have a PIII @ 533 mhz and was doing wu's in 10.4 hrs. I think it
has to do with how the BIOS is tweaked.
I have an Intel PIII, 700 MgH, 128 Mb, Win 98... average WU is 13.5 hours...
I am (said it before on this forum) a technological dwarf, but it seems to
me that faster is not always better... it has to do with how long it takes
to process FLops... CPU efficiency seems dependant on a number of factors,
like ratio of cache size to processor speed, etc.
