Jeffrey, Good Sunday to you as well,

I did some searches on the web as well.  Some of the sites I found referred to cgi files, macros etc.  So I cleaned out my cookie, temp internet files, temp and history folders and rebooted.  So far so good.  I'll let you know if the problem reoccurs.

Good Sunday Morning Allan,

I haven't experienced any of the problems you describe.  Perhaps it's a local issue on your end.

A Google search of the character string " fcgi.txt " yielded three hits:
two in Russian and one in English that appears to have originated t in the Czeck Republic.

Here's the search:

and here's the English language post

Subject: SETI@HOME WEB PAGE

Lately when I visit the Seti@home web page I have some weird things happening.  Occasionally when I click on a link it loops me right back to the home page.  Also when I click on the user of the day link it tries to download a text file, fcgi.txt.

Is this happening to anyone else?  Does anyone know why its happening?
