You need to look into the "debug spinning zope" - please do not use python
2.4.x, people in plone-land will immediately tell you its not supported and
you will get no help.

This is going to be tricky to diagnosis.  But I can promise you it has
something to do with your environment because we run plone on
windows/linux/bsd and have no problems.
