I'm not using the default Data.fs created when the new Zope instance is created (so I don't use the manager created at install time).

Because I am using my old Data.fs, my migrated site is using an LDAPUserFolder for authentication, so it authenticates the user (who is mapped to have a Manager role), against my LDAP directory.

How have you done the zope migration?
Installed 2.8.5 and then moved the data.fs or imported your site from a zexp? I'm asking this because if you moved the data.fs the login sould be the same, but upon import you can change the ownership of the file, so it would login with the actual zope manager user you entered on the instalation.

Hope it helps.
Rui.

I am now running Zope 2.8.5, with Plone 2.1.2, and I am still
    having the
    same problem.

The plone site is repeatedly prompting for me to enter my Manager
username and password, and when I repeatedly cancel through, the
    page is
displayed, without any of the CSS sheets.

I can access the page normally if I give the Anonymous user both the
Access contents information, and View, permissions, but not otherwise,
even though my Manager user has both these permissions.

Would appreciate some guidance on this problem.

    Thanks,
