Hi Vik, This can be a complete newbie way of doing things, but I have only one inexperience suggestion. Have you tried to completely uninstall zope, plone and every single product related to zope/plone then reinstall everything?
What I'm trying to say is, have you tried a completely fresh install? Regards, Kwang
