I just tried a fresh install with these components:
PlonePAS 1.2
PluggableAuthService 1.2-final
PluginRegistry 1.1

And got this error on Plone's Add/Remove Products page:
Some products were found to have errors when compiling the install file.

Hello Mike,
I don't know a lot about this , but in 2.5RC1 there's a GroupsTool.py
under both CMFPlone and GroupUserFolder.
So to make this work in 2.1.3, you might need to get GroupUserFolder too.
It seemed to me perhaps best to try out 2.5 first rather than going
to 2.1.3. PlonePAS might end up being more robust in 2.5 than 2.1,
because in 2.5 that is the only way of authenticating.
I failed to find much helpful documentation so far though. If you
know any good links please post.
