The main limiting factor for this is the python version. Off the top of my head I don't think FC1 has the needed version. Even Centos4 doesn't. Also, FC1 is EOL/Not Maintained/Dead. I maintain the packages in Fedora Extras and the furthest back I could even try to push 2.5.1 is FC4. However, the current FC4 plone version does not properly migrate to 2.5.1. I have it on my list of things to do to try to figure out why the migration fails. Basically it has to do with the move from GRUF to PAS. So, the simple answer is that FC5 and FC6 have zope 2.9.5, python 2.4.4 and plone 2.5.1. If you want to go with the current FC stream, go FC5 or FC6 for the latest plone and zope support.

Can Plone 2.5.1 be installed on FC1? If so, does anyone have any advice?

Thanks
