I am now working on my licence work. The subject is "integrating Plone in an existing Information System". I have to study how the users, groups, rights works if I connect my ZOPE/Plone site in Active Directory, Active Directory Mode Application and OpenLdap. What are the differences between a connection to Active Directory and Active Directory Mode Application and OpenLdap concerning the users, groups and rights? What are the advantages (or disadvantages to use Active Directory instead of Active Directory Mode Application or OpenLdap? Can you give me some tips to configure ZOPE/Plone with Active Directory?
