plone.app.contentrules.actions should get you going. If you're very new, it
may be a bit of a steep learning curve, though, at least until we've had a
bit more of a chance to document these.

while content rules are probably the best way to go you can also
do it "the old way". But you would need to introduce custom
content types which is something you may or may not want anyway.
