Sorry to hear that - there are too many variables here for me to work out what exactly is wrong.
If you manage to come up with some concrete steps to reproduce (from a fresh Plone site, say), then please post them to the RichDocument issues tracker at http://plone.org/products/richdocument/issues and I'll try to have a look.
