I have a Windows network with a root domain and two sub-domains. AD authentication is working for the user logins to the site. (all domains) But when I try to set permissions on a folder for instance, it will read AD security groups from the root domain and one of the sub-domains, but not the other sub-domain.
The server is located in the root domain. The weird thing is that from the Plone Sharing tab I can search users and groups from the problem sub-domain and even give the AD user account direct access and it will work, but if I try to give permissions to a security group, it will not work. To sum it up: AD User logins work for all domains. Root Domain: Permissions work for users and groups. Sub-Domain 1: Permissions work for users and groups. Sub-Domain 2: Permissions for users work, but groups do not. Any ideas? P.S. One feature request: It would be great when adding users/groups, if the domain they are in also showed in the sharing search. -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/%28Enfold-Plone%29-Permissions-through-Active-Directory-tp1619127p1619127.html Sent from the Installation, Setup, Upgrades mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Setup mailing list [email protected] http://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/setup
