During installation of the Plone 3.1.7 installer for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista, I get the following error message as the Zope Service was being installed:
Executing the command zopeservice.py failed AssertionError: SRE module mismatch I have tried installing from the Product Package as well using Zope2.10.6 and Python 2.4.4 and I get the same failure. Other than a vanilla Windows XP with service pack 3, I also have 2 versions of Python installed: 2.3 and 2.5. I'm relying on the Plone installer to give me Python 2.4.4. I've been working on this for days now and have reinstalled and uninstalled many times. To say the least, I'm disappointed by this. I have what I think is a good app for Plone and I was hoping to develop products as well, but this has me dead in the water. Can anybody out there offer some assistance, please?
