I have Plone 3.1.6, built as a zeocluster from the Unified Installer package.
When I try to start Plone using
${PLONE_HOME}/zeocluster/bin/startcluster.sh, it will fail to start the
zeoserver, but start the two configured clients. If I look at the
zeoserver.log, I see:
...
2009-01-26T09:26:12 spawned process pid=5201
2009-01-26T09:26:12 sleep 8 to avoid rapid restarts
2009-01-26T09:26:12 pid 5201: exit status 1
2009-01-26T09:26:20 spawned process pid=5221
2009-01-26T09:26:20 sleep 9 to avoid rapid restarts
2009-01-26T09:26:20 pid 5221: exit status 1
2009-01-26T09:26:29 spawned process pid=5223
2009-01-26T09:26:29 restarting too frequently; quit
Both ps and netstat show the two clients running, but not the zeoserver.
However, if I run
${PLONE_HOME}/zeocluster/parts/zeoserver/bin/runzeo &
... it starts up just fine. Oddly enough,
${PLONE_HOME}/zeocluster/parts/zeoserver/bin/zeoctl start &
... has the same issue as startcluster.sh.
One possibility - I have several storage zopedbs (production, development,
sandbox, etc). I notice the startcluster.sh is a wrapper for "plonectl
start" in the same folder - and that script is calling a Python method, with
one of the parameters being "fileStorage". Do I need to adjust this script
somehow in order for it to work?
Thanks for any help.
