I'll not speak to the Bush/No Doubt issue, but Soul Asylum, in fact,
has been a fantastic band for a very long time. They do have loads of
talent and are fantastic songwriters. They are right up there with
the Replacements and Husker Du for me - simply one of the best bands
from the 80's. You should do yourself a favor and dig back into their
catalogue and not judge them on their last record. They've made some
truly amazing music.
