Hi,
I'd like to cut a line to have a segment that matches with a known distance.
I mean, if I've a primary pipe and I know that there's a connection with a
secondary pipe at X meters, I'd like to cut the line of the primary pipe at
X meters to start drawing the secondary pipe. Does anyone know how to do
that? If there's no way to do that, does anyone know how to insert a point
(into a point type shapefile) at X meters over a line?
