Same problem here with 0.97~beta from GIT (last pulled at c. 1000 UTC, 2009-10-23). This *only* happens on my x86_64 machine; ia32 and ppc32 connect to SIP (albeit ppc is useless as the sound is completely garbled). It does not appear to matter which SIP account or STUN server I use, accounts that work on the ia32 box fail "Invalid" on x86_64. IAX works fine on x86_64 and ia32.
