At the time the SPEEX16 and SPEEX32 were implemented, we did not tested this
features on a freeswitch machine.

We tested directly from SFLphone to SFLphone using ip-to-ip calls, which one
you can try dialing the machine ip prefixed with "sip:" (sip:192.168.50.182).

SFLphone's SPEEX16 and SPEEX32 parameters may have to be adjusted to be fully
compatible with Freeswitch implementation.

Thanks,

Alexandre Savard

Objet: [SFLphone] SPEEX Chirps

I'm using sflphone with freeswitch[0].

When using sp...@16khz, I hear small chirps every second or so. If I try
sp...@32khz the audio is totally skewed up and it's impossible to make
sense of anything you hear.

If I use p...@8khz, the audio is "good", with a tiny little chirp every
5 minutes or so.

Is SPEEX supposed to be fully functional with sflphone?.
