A quick message to let you know that you might be experiencing problems of various kind if you are running the daily builds these days.
But hey, behind those bugs is a good news : thanks to Alexandre Savard, we finally have a solid, human-readable configuration file that can also be parsed easily in all sorts of languages. We settled down our choice on Yaml precisely for those qualities, but also because we though that sysadmins would prefer it over XML. This new feature is part of : https://projects.savoirfairelinux.com/issues/show/3647 and https://projects.savoirfairelinux.com/issues/show/957 to some extents. This first step having been reached, we hope to provide, in the near future, the ability for bulk deployments as well as automatic import from other phone infrastructure (Cisco, Polycom) through XSLT. These new changes should be built tonight on Launchpad and reach the repos tomorrow. Help us making SFLPhone more solid by filling bug reports at https://projects.savoirfairelinux.com/projects/show/sflphone. If you're developer, don't be shy, and let's get friendly by sending us your SSH key so that you can gain access to the GIT repository, and fix problems at the source.
