Hi,

To display SFLphone in system tray without having to open the preferences
panel, run the following command:

  gconftool-2 --type int --set /apps/sflphone-client-gnome/state/statusicon "1"

Regards,

Emmanuel.

Subject: [SFLphone] sflphone 0.9.9 preferences crashes and missing tray icon

Hello,

I've upgraded to sflphone 0.9.9 (through ppa, from 0.9.8) on a LTSP
based setup with Ubuntu 10.04 / x86_64. Sound quality is better with
this release.
The problem is that the phone crashes when trying to open the
preferences ... as others have already reported. Also tray icon is
missing and the phone window is not popping up on new calls.
I've tried generating the new config file, but the phone still crashes
even with the new one.
Is there an option to put directly into ~/.config/sflphone/sflphoned.yml
that enables pop up and tray icon? Thus eliminating the need to open
preferences as you'll probably fix that in a later release.

I can provide more info if needed.

Thanks upfront.
