Hi,

If you want to use ALSA API directly, you must disable the ALSA plugin in
pulseaudio configuration (or remove pulseaudio completely) which is not
recommanded.

dmix/snoop are ALSA plugins that allow for sharing playback/capture respectively
among several devices.

I'll take a look to pulseaudio audio configuration persistence between
system shutdown/startup.

Thanks

Alexandre

Objet: [SFLphone] 2 soundcard problem

Hello,

I'm using 2 sound cards (VIA 686A in chipset and CMI PCI add-on
card).

The 1st is used for system sound and for SFLPhone ringing and
the 2nd for SFLPhone - attached headset.

The problem is, then if I use PulseAudio, then after evere boot I
have to manually set in pavucontrol which cart to use for SFLPhone
channels.

End if I try to use ALSA, then "default" plugin do not work (it is
PulseAudio again) and "dmix/dsnoop" mostly do no work at all - just
silence.

BTW - what is "dsnoop" ?

This is a request for developers - could You make it working, please
?

And/Or any ideas ?
