And it looks like it is exactly the way you are invoking it. Are you saying that, although the header files have it, the compiled libraries included in the Debian ccrtp library did not compile in the function? I'd really rather not install the Ubuntu debs if I can avoid it as this is not a one-off developer installation but one which may involved thousands of desktops if it works. Thanks - John
