Do you have the sflphone-plugins package installed? The address book is part of that package, that way sflphone doesn't have to depend on evolution. In any case, we should not have any mention of the address book in the GUI if it's not installed, as it is clearly misleading. This has been fixed in the git version of SFLphone and will the case for the next release (1.0.2):
