I have set up akonadi, just to see how it works. Created one Vcard and added the resource in akonadi (Personal Contacts). Installed kaddressbook, and enabled Personal Contacts. My Vcard shows up in kaddressbook. :)
Unfortunately it does not show in the Contacts pane. Not sure why. Also, when I start the kde client it states "No registered accounts" at the bottom, but when I open Settings > Configure > Accounts > MyAccount it shows "Status REGISTERED" After one of the recent updates from git I had to remove the sflphone-kde-clientrc file to be able to save any changed the settings - just for info.
