Subject: [SFLphone] Initial organisation.

Greetings all.
This is my first foray into the voip realm and looking for some
guidance.
I'm operating a Debian system and documentation in the package and on
the sflphone site seems to be somewhat sparse, so I need to bother
you people.
No problem.

Thanks for this, Tristan!

As I understand it, there is a need to set up an account on a server
somewhere?
If so, where?
You need to register an account with a SIP provider, there are quite
a few out there, such as callcentric.com, sip2sip.info, voip.ms
If you look up "free SIP provider" you'll find more.

Is there any other relevant information you can provide or a pointer
to docs anywhere.
I can find nothing through a search engine.
There's the SFLphone user guide, which if you are using the gnome client
is under Help->Contents.

Otherwise during the week we are on the #sflphone IRC channel and can
answer questions there.

Best,
Tristan

Thanks for any information.
Regards,

Dave.
