I am not able to get sflphone to work on ubuntu 12.04.
I have tried
A Installing sflphone 1.0.2-1 using software centre. The application installs
but starting it, it says
unable to initialize. Make sure the daeman is running. Error Message does not
receive a reply (time out by message bus). And that is it.

B After uninstalling sflphone, installing sflphone using sudo
add-apt-repository ppa:savoirfairelinux.
Got a lot of error messages doing that. Unable to initialize. Make sure the
daemon is running. Error: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message
bus) when starting the application. A red warning icon appears saying broken
count. Unmet dependencies. In update manager a sip update appears. Installing
it results in error message The package system is broken If you are using third
party repositories
then disable them, since they are a common source of problems. Now run
the following command in a terminal: apt-get install -f The following
packages have unmet dependencies: A list of files and folders is shown.

I wanted to install using
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/savoirfairelinux/ppa/ubuntu
YOUR_UBUNTU_VERSION_HERE main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/savoirfairelinux/ppa/ubuntu
YOUR_UBUNTU_VERSION_HERE main
but what do I exactly write in terminal?

Can it work on the computer, then please tell how?
Thanks.
