If you are running ubuntu 12.04, as per the subject of this thread, then there is a deb already built for you in the repository of the 1.2.3 release. You would need to add the repository to your list of sources to take advantage of this. Follow the instructions here: http://sflphone.org/download/stable-release As you are running ubuntu 12.04 you will fill in "precise" for YOUR_UBUNTU_VERSION_HERE in the directions. You can also download the debs directly from the repository here: http://ppa.launchpad.net/savoirfairelinux/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/s/sflphone-client-gnome/sflphone-client-gnome_1.2.3~ppa1~precise_i386.deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/savoirfairelinux/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/s/sflphone-client-gnome/sflphone-client-gnome_1.2.3~ppa1~precise_amd64.deb Choose the amd64.deb if you are running 64 bit ubuntu and the i386.deb for 32 bit ubuntu.
