Hello Duarte,

This issue have been fixed in Git master. Sorry about the the inconvenient.
There was an infinite loop with certain complex contact topologies.

The "contact_refactor" branch have further fixes, but it is not yet fully
optimized and may cause "lag" until all contacts are loaded. If you use Ubuntu,
we provide a PPA with the fix on out website.

Best regards,
Emmanuel

Subject: [SFLphone] sflphone-client-kde : high load/memory if too many
contacts in

Hello,

I have a contact list with thounsands of contacts, multiple address books to be
correct. If I start sflphone-client-kde it keeps the CPU at 100% and nothing
can
be done in the interface, also the memory keeps on groing, and I suspect until
no more memory is left...

If I remove all my address books (ldap, google contacts, ...) it works without
a
problem.

Is there a way to disable sflphone from searching the addressbook?

Even if it is disable in preferences the same problem occurs.

I've been using the gtk version, and although it's not so well integrated with
kde.

~ $ sflphone-client-kde -v
Qt: 4.8.5
KDE Development Platform: 4.12.3
SFLPhone-KDE: 1.3.0

Best regards,
