Hi
 this is what you need
1. setup AMP stack
http://blogs.sun.com/natarajan/entry/setting_up_amp_stack_within

2. now, unpack mediawiki tar ball under /var/apache2/2.2/htdocs
cd /var/apache2/2.2/htdocs
pfexec tar zxvf mediawiki-... gz.
pfexec ln -sf medawiki-1.13..   mediawiki

3. now, start apache and mysql service
svcadm enable -s http:apache22
svcadm eanble -s mysql

4. now , you should be able to access mediawiki installation by visiting
http://localhost/mediawiki

that is all there to it.
