I took a look at the logs in your built workspaces on denton and ion.
On denton, it appears that idn is picking up DOMAIN from your
environment. DOMAIN appears to refer to the TEXT_DOMAIN in message file
generation for idn. idn/Makefile.sfw should probably be stripping the
environment that is passes on during configure and build, but if you
unset DOMAIN prior to build, you should be ok. I didn't look at your
dot files, etc to determine where you are picking up a definition of
DOMAIN.
