You're supposed to be building N on no later than N-2 (so 97 on no later
than 95). Of course that's not what actually happens as machines may be
busy or there may be bugs or scheduled building shutdowns that prevent
upgrades (so the sfw gate machines are on 92), and some consolidations
only update their own bits and not others until they are forced to.
Yes mc really should point at the proto area, I see it was made to
use slang but not tweeked to do that recently. So you probably should
file a bug against mc.
