Shiv, A few general comments: ARC are not interested in implementation details. Therefore, discussion of source directories and makefiles is not relevant here. (Also, I think you should limit references to consolidations to saying "moving from CCD to SFW".) However, they are very interested in Interfaces, both imported and exported. Imported interfaces would include Tck/Tk (reference the Tcl/Tk ARC case, PSARC/2007/317 Tcl/Tk upgrade to 8.4.14). Exported interfaces would include: command-line programs installed by your case (eg /usr/bin/*); libs that users might link against; man pages & info docs; installed header files. And all interfaces listed should include a Stability classification. I think "Uncommitted" is appropriate here. Other possibilities are Committed, Volatile and Private. Also, your case should say exactly what version of Expect you are planning to integrate. (I notice we currently have 5.39 in CCD, but 5.44.1 is available. Are you planning to bump to the latest version?) btw - what is the relationship between Tcl and Expect version numbers? Is there a lookup table of which Expect vers. work with which Tcl vers? - Dermot
