Yes, you can run the sync script every time you get mail notification.
One would need to configure procmail, elmfilter or some other mail
processing tool.

But it would not help much, as you can have one putback just one second
after another and you may end up with the two putbacks joined together
anyway.

Also the sync can be run very often, as it is very gentle. It just
consults Codemgr_wsdata/history to find out if anything changed. And
when there was putback, it starts rsync.
