Ident strings should be formatted like comments in files that don't
actually get run through a processor that treats them specially. In
particular, most files have a space between "#" and the rest of the
comment; the same should apply to the ident string.
Mike_s recently fixed 6657798, which cleaned up most of the makefiles. You
should follow the work he did there.
NAME and DESC in the pkginfo file should be more descriptive.
Otherwise, it looks fine, though you may have to redo the way your
prototype_{i386,sparc} files are done if you come in after
mutt/procmail/fetchmail, which looks like it's changing the world in that
area.
