Well it's a lot like sfw, since sfw is modeled after ON :)

Go to the ON pages on opensolaris.org, or internally start
at http://onnv.sfbay. /ws/onnv-clone would be what you would
bringover from (if you have that automount entry).

Well these are just the build tools, which need to know about users
on the system. You also have to edit the base passwd/group files,
which as I said are in usr/src/cmd/Adm. You may have to update
the class-action scripts for these as well, not sure. Maybe
you should go see what these bugs did for postgres:

6504176 onnv tool "protocmp" doesn't know about postgres uid/gid
6438076 Add default uid/group for Postgres

(which I thought I saw pointed out too on the alias but there's
been so much Indiana mail to go through I may have hallucinated it)
