How do I find out what products/versions will be supported in the sfw releases
For example, In SCXR build 49, I see MySQL 4.0 but 4.1 has been stable for awhile. Is there a plan to move to later versions of products? This is an issue because in 4.1 the authentication protocol changed. This means that the mysql client (or products build by the client library) will not connect to servers running 4.1 or above. I realize that there are dependencies (apache2, etc.) that may come into play. What sort of strategy is being worked on to move from older versions? Gary This message posted from opensolaris.org
