/usr/ucb/foo is similar to having /usr/xpg?/bin/foo and /usr/gnu/bin/foo The default path does not include /usr/ucb/ at all never mind in front of /usr/bin or any of the /usr/xpg?/ /usr/gnu/ alternate environments.
