Gavin,
the behaviors suggest you're generating an empty webtop - that
is, there are no applications being selected for inclusion on the user's
webtops.
a couple of quick things to look at:
1. After you've logged in as an LDAP user, click the "Info" link on
your webtop, then the "detailed diagnostics" link, and confirm the
proper user profile is being loaded - I assume you're just trying to use
the "LDAP Profile" under "Tarantella System Objects", yes? As opposed
to trying to mirror your LDAP structure under the domain component, with
multiple LDAP User Profiles?
2. From a command line, check to ensure that applications have been
published to the profile:
# tarantella object list_attributes ".../_ens/o=Tarantella System
Objects/cn=LDAP Profile"
If you're using default setup, the "links" attribute will be set to
"o=organization".
Or you could just use the Object Manager's "Links" tab.
3. If all of this looks right, you might try adding some additional log
filters, such as:
server/webtop/*:webtop%%PID%%.log
and see if you're generating some errors there.
