sorry to hear this. Ys you can turn on debugging as follows:
Run the command (as root):
touch /tmp/pkgadd.debug
..then do the installation/upgrade again and examine the files:
INSTALL_DIR/var/log/setup.log
/tmp/tta*

Went back to the v250 and got it all current on patches (several that
repeatedly failed from updatemanager happily installed from smpatch in
single user mode). One uninstall --purge and reinstall later and
nothing's changed. Same exact error!

Is there an installer log generated anywhere that might shed some light
on this issue? What outside dependencies does tarantella have?
