Hi experts,

bit of an odd one this.

Is it possible to modify the character application so that the keymap can be specified as a parameter that overrides the application object's actual default setting?

Weird I know, but I have a customer who's got an interesting situation where a user launches a character app that connects to a back end device that proxies the connection between SGD and an undetermined number of back end actual character app servers. Additionally it's able to differentiate what to connect to using a token parameter passed back at launch time.

The token passing works fine.. I'm struggling to see how I can modify the keyboard map attribute. I see from the following file:

/opt/tarantella/var/serverconfig/local/scottacharacterapplication.properties

.. that it's available in the expect script as TTA_KeyMapFile   but the file:
/opt/tarantella/var/serverresources/expect/runsubscript.exp
.. doesn't include it for processing in the launch. I suspect it might be too late in the process at that stage to do anything and it needs modified earlier than that.

Any advice?

Thanks..
Curtis.
