Hi Jörg,

We are running ssgd 4.31.915 with ms 2003 terminal servers, and are using the print to local pdf mechanism to achieve

driverless printing support for about 200 users.

In general, this works really great. (expect that Sun has removed the open-print-dialog in adobe reader for some reasons)

But some times the printer jobs seems to stuck in the queue for random users. When this happens, the person concerned

has “x” waiting print jobs in the ssgd webtop window and sometimes the printer is even paused and has to be resumed manually.

After cleaning the queue (“delete all jobs” and manually resume the printer) the printing mechanism works fine again.

This is not critically but it’s really annoying as I cannot see the reasons for this behaviour. It happens with users connected to LAN

and to users in remote offices.

Maybe s/o out there has experienced similar problems, or even is able to direct me to the solution of that “bug”.

Das gleiche Problem haben wir auch. Das Problem tritt sporadisch auf. Wir haben noch keine Ursache/Lösung gefunden. :-(

Gruß,

  Andreas
