I'm not an expert as SGD loadbalancing my any means, but I don't think you can do that. The jsp redirect page checks if a server is up and then redirects to it. Thus, I think you would want to have the actual hostname there. In our setup we have two machines in an array, host1 and host2 along with a dns name, sgd. So users access sgd (one of the servers) and then click the login button. This kicks off the jsp script that then redirects to either https://host1/sgd or https://host2/sgd where they actually type login creds. Since we are also running linux LVS loadbalancers, I'm considering dropping all of this and just letting the loadbalancer detect if <hostname>/sgd is up and running everything through the loadbalancer. But I don't know if sgd can cope with the arp/ip addr craziness that entails. Good luck! Christian McHugh
